I’m going to ask you to write a love letter. Yes, I’d like you to write a love letter to yourself. What? Yes to yourself. It kinda stops you in your tracks, huh?
You’re not alone. When I recommend this to clients they have had a similar response and are a little taken off guard. Write a love letter to myself? To myself? Yes to yourself.
If I had asked you to write a love letter to your new love, or to an old love this would not have been so surprising. We have all written love letters in our lives, some of us started as early as grade school telling the long lashed doe eyed curly headed boy just how sweet we thought he was, and how we loved him.
Do you remember the joy you felt in expressing your love as the ink flowed into loving words across the paper?
Why have we written love letters? To express our love and to let the other person know what it is about them that makes them so special, and what it is about them that makes you feel so special. I want you to do that for you. I invite you to give this gift to yourself.
Please if the very thought of doing this makes you a little uncomfortable, or if you are unsure as to where to start click here and get a free gift to help you write a love letter to yourself.
